“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”

An Invitation

Life is full. It is easy to become scattered and forget where you stand; forget what your body feels like. I believe that taking care of ourselves is an investment that gives endless returns. Yoga and massage are healing arts that present an opportunity to come home to yourself. My intention is to create a sanctuary for healing. I do this through dialogue, quiet listening, breathing and the movement of bodywork and yoga.

My work with you will be unique. My extensive background in the healing arts is supplemented with an passion for international travel, the outdoors, language, meditation, somatic movement and laughter. These elements weave together a diverse palate of knowledge that I use in each session.

Exciting News: As of September 2011, I will be pursuing a Masters of Acupuncture at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine (Graduating Class 2014.) I am excited and proud of this decision to dive deep into the realm of Oriental Medicine: Acupuncture, Tuina bodywork, Qigong, and Nutrition/Food Therapies) which I plan to integrate into my current work. I am eager to begin my studies and even more eager to expand my knowledge and experience as a healer.

“With vibrant energy, she brings lighthearted humor and an intentional focus into the practice. With Cicely’s knowledge of the body and her mindful teaching, I felt very safe practicing yoga in her class, even with my recovering injuries!”
